this product is exactly as described and good quality. the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel like the picture is misleading in how many shoes you can actually fit (with men's shoes at least.) in some drawers, only able to fit 2 pairs of mens shoes. of course, this is on a case by case basis, depending on shoe size.
I was looking for a shoe cabinet to fit our entry way on our apartment but I only had 12 inches width to work with and this was perfect! It was easy to assemble and the directions were very straightforward. The walnut color is nice and the design makes it look very modern. Shipping was speedy and the shoe cabinet was well packaged. Overall I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great shoe cabinet!
I had previously ordered a cheap but nice looking shoe cabinet from amazon. It fell apart after a week. It was basically glued together sawdust with a veneer. I searched again for something higher quality and stumbled upon this cabinet. It looked nice and was heavier than our previous cabinet. After putting it together (simple), it has completely lived up to what we were hoping. It's sturdy, looks great, and does the job. Worth it.
I had been looking for a more narrow shoe cabinet with a little shelf on top, and it took a while before I found this one. It was pretty easy to assemble, took me about an hour (probably less, I was moving slow). I did assemble by myself and the only tricky part is putting in the top drawer but it is doable. The package is about 40 pounds so it is weighty if you're moving the box around by yourself. There is a part in the instructions to call out, you do need a hammer/mallet to pop a couple of pieces in, I did not have one so I used a shoe with a weighty heel and it worked fine.
as far as how shoes fit, most of my sneakers fit fine, my air maxes can only go on the wider shelf. Tall boots are pretty much a no go. Shorter ones are fine if you put them in sideways. I'm overall happy with the product.
Arrived quickly! I was surprised by the weight (also = quality!) and since I live alone, unpacked and took everything upstairs. Assembly was easy with instructions and I appreciated that each piece and bag of screws etc were labeled. Very happy!
